With PHCA, we are treated as professionals. We are granted the freedom and autonomy to practice as our clinical judgment dictates. I have worked in home health for 20 years for a number of companies. I can, therefore, state that with PHCA I can practice Physical Therapy in a patient specific fashion. We have the luxury to work as patient advocates, a role that appears to be endangered in the modern health care industry.

PHCA is a good company to work for due to the management and staff that work within it. It’s rare to find a family-like atmosphere, and good communication between team members, on a continuous basis. I find the companies’ benefits and salaries to be competitive, and up to date with other companies. I would recommend this company to those searching for a career in home health.

I enjoy working for Neurosport and PHCA because of the fine people I get to work with. Being both a PT and Clinic Manager, I know how important it is to have the right people in place. Both companies have been able to attract and keep great people in order to promote a professional atmosphere. Throughout my ten years of being a PT with both companies I have been given the opportunity to learn, grow and practice being the best clinician I can become. I am never micro-managed and feel at ease working for both companies. I get great support from all personnel from the top to the aids. Besides a professional atmosphere it is also a fun place to work and share your life with people you can call friends. I never have a day where I don’t fell like coming to work.

The first thing that comes to mind as a major reason for my extreme happiness with working at PHCA is the people and climate of the office. Everyone genuinely cares for and likes each other. There never seems to be any ill will, backstabbing, eye rolling or distaste for anyone. The office support staff never shows frustration when field staff make mistakes. People are polite, genuine and we have fun! The owners are totally involved by carrying their own patient caseloads. I think that in itself helps keep a pulse and sets the tone as a win-win situation. Sincere dedication for the patient is good for everyone; the patients, owners, field staff and office staff. They encourage us, reward us and they acknowledge each of us as a valuable part of the whole.
